Last year, I hit financial rock bottom.

I was living in Sri Lanka.

Things looked great… On the outside.

On the inside?

I was struggling to afford rent.

• I was broke ($5000 in debt)

• I dreamed of succeeding in making content and writing online

• I doubted I would ever reach it

I was close to quitting.

Scared To Get Rich (Evil, Slimey!!)

The fact is:

If a tree isn’t baring fruit, there’s something wrong with the roots…

In money terms, this means – if you have no money… there’s something wrong with your mindset.

AKA: You have brokey mindset bro.

Don’t worry. I did too. Until I figured something out…

To fix the external, I first had to fix the internal.

Internally, something was holding me back from succeeding.

What exactly?

Truth be told… I was procrastinating.

What do I mean?

Well, I wanted to make money so bad… but I was scared to admit it to myself out of some weird sense of guilt.

This guilt made me scared to sell.

Shit-scared!

Why guilt?

I’ll level with you.

I thought selling was “slimey.” Dirty even!

I’ve sold tonnes of stuff in the past.

Gardening services…

NFTs…

Music events….

I was no stranger to getting people to buy stuff.

But deep down, I had been conditioned to see money as evil and slimey.

The idea that selling is slimey is unanimous in society.

But this consensus couldn’t be any more DUMB.

If you’re an entrepreneur and you can’t, don’t or won’t sell – how’re you ever going to make money?!

This fear of doing what is required to make money (selling) creates a “needy” energy that actually repels money.

Imagine the desperate guy who’s scared to approach a woman. He wants her SO bad… but he doesn’t have the guts to even talk to her!

That’s like most people trying to make money online.

You see…

Money is like feminine energy…

The more you put it on a pedalstall… the more it will run from you.

Identifying this led me to ANOTHER realisation…

You don’t chase money.

You attract it.

But that doesn’t mean you can just sit there trying to “manifest” cash.

It won’t happen.

No. You need to go out and TALK to money.

Cold approach it.

Warm approach it.

Just like you would a girl you fancy.

Here are a list of languages money speaks:

• Empathy

• Determination

• Innovation

• Knowledge

• Belief

• Quality

• Mastery

• Confidence

• Value

• Solutions

• Passion

• Status

When I started speaking these languages, money started flowing to me.

If you can focus on building yourself into a character that money likes to be around… by understanding what languages it speaks and not being a weird little creep towards it… then NOW you’re onto something.

The Selling Mindset

I was on a call with a creator the other day.

He asked me:

“What is the key to your progress and success?”

My response vomitted out of me almost instantaneously.

“Getting a Selling Mindset!”

Here’s why:

Adopting a selling mindset saved me from being broke.

If you haven’t got a selling mindset, get one!

This one mental shift changed everything for me.

Great sales-people realise something:

When it comes to getting results, it’s ALL on them.

They take full responsibility for their success and this is why they win.

They win at life. They win at love. They win at business. And they make a shit load of money!

In a spiritual sense, sales-people are hunters.

They’re survivors.

That’s why they call it “bringing home the bacon”!

For this reason, everyone is a sales-person (or they should be).

But most people never get over the fear of selling.

Why?

Well firstly, because we’re conditioned to think selling is slimey, evil and just straight-up BAD.

But there’s another reason.

You see…

Society bubble wraps us.

This makes us entitled. I stops us WANTING to EARN our food (money) – and instead makes most people just EXPECT money to fall into their bank account on the same day each month.

Sounds suspiciously like a monthly salary… doesn't it?

It gets worse…

This entitlement leads to a victim mentality.

“WHY am I so broke!!”

“WHY am I so sick!”

“WHY am I so unhappy!”

People start blaming external factors…

“It’s the government’s fault!”

“It’s my parent’s fault!”

“It’s my boss’ fault!”

This is all victim, pussy-ass bullcrap!

But here’s a newsflash for you:

You want to get rich?

Make more money to treat the family?

Create more income so you can cease worrying about debts and bills?

Stop complaining.

Stop blaming.

Realise that you are creating your life. At every moment you are attracting either success or crap into your life – with your thoughts!

Choose your thoughts and words wisely.

Choose to adopt a selling mindset. TRULY.

Trust me.

You’ll find new energy. New desire. You’ll give less fucks. You’ll break down barriers, walls and obstacles you never thought imaginable!

Spiritually you will connect to your deepest power. Because you won’t be scared to challenge people and go after what you want.

You’ll learn how to persuade and influence others, as well as overcome objections that otherwise would’ve made you feel “hurt” or “rejected” before.

Ever been able to look someone in the eye and ask for $8700 right there and then?

I have.

And yet, just 3-6 months ago that would’ve given me an anxiety attack.

But guess what?

They said yes.

And even if they didn’t say yes. Who cares? You gotta shoot your shot and have the audacity to ask for what you want.

Ignore anyone who says selling is “slimey” or “dirty”. There’s at least a 99% chance they’re broke.

If you believe in your product, your service and yourself – you have a moral obligation to sell it.

No B.S. Blueprint I Followed To 20x My Income

Alright, so here’s the sneaky, behind-the-scenes stuff that helped me go from $600/month last year to $15K/month this year.

If I were to start from 0 all over again, and I wanted to reach this point 10x faster – this is exactly what I’d do:

1. Delude yourself.

To have success online, you have to be out of your mind.

• Pray daily

• Commit to your success

• Never quit

At first, no one is going to root for you but you.

Embrace the crazy and fucking go for it.

2. Become a prolific writer.

Writing is a force multiplier for every other skill.

Writing will 10x your ability to think, speak and communicate.

• Write everyday

• Practice long-form and short-form.

• Study great writers

An expert without writing is like a warrior without a sword.

3. Get a selling mindset. Now.

Sales = survival

If you can sell, you can eat.

• Read sales books

• Study great salespeople

• Hire a sales mentor

Adopt a love for selling, and you’ll raise your income in no time.

4. Connect with millionaires.

Want to make more money?

Go where money already flows.

• Join wealth based-communities (copywriting, sales, finance)

• Reach out to those in your network that are wealthy

• Work for clients with a higher income

Increase the value of your network and soon money and opportunities will flow to you.

5. Get fucking good at what you do.

There is nothing more attractive than mastery.

Mastery = (skill x competence) x time.

And competence pays.

• Pick 1 skill you love

• Master it

• Move on to the next

Focus less on money and more on competence.

6. Study wealth.

Here’s a simple formula to getting what you want:

If you want to be happy, study happiness.

If you want to be healthy, study health.

If you want to be wealthy, study wealth.

Don’t overcomplicate it.

7. The ‘Sacred Block’.

Every day, block out 1 hour building your dream future.

• Start writing that book

• Craft that new offer

• Take that course

Make it sacred.

Let nothing come between you and your dream future.

This is how you truly manifest anything into your life.

8. 1-2 hours of self-education daily.

A pattern I’ve noticed in rich people:

Obsessive learners.

• Read daily

• Listen to podcasts and audiobooks

• Do work tasks that force you to learn

Entrepreneurship is paid learning.

The best learners make the most money.

If you become obsessed with learning, your success is programmed.

9. Hire mentors.

Success is transferable.

Plug yourself into the flow of those ahead of you, and let their knowledge become your knowledge.

• Bill Gates had Warren Buffet

• Mark Zuckerberg had Steve Jobs

• Harry Potter had Dumbledore

If someone has something you want – humble yourself and enlist their help. Paid is best, but I also have free mentors currently.

I’ve spent $5000 just this month on mentors – all of whom have the skills and knowledge I want.

To summarise, this letter I’d say this:

Making money really is 90% mindset. The rest is all skill.

I know that’s trite. But it’s true.

However, the most powerful mindset shift you can make is to get a selling mindset!

If you don’t, can’t or won’t promote yourself – you’re destined to be a broke copycat follower like I was.

First, you must delude yourself into believing you can make it work.

Then decide to learn from those ahead, embrace your crazy – and fucking go for it!

If you walk the path, it will illuminate.
